• Design, build, and operate core platform services and APIs used to deploy and serve production workloads at scale. • Own service reliability end-to-end, driving improvements in availability, scalability, performance, and operational excellence. • Lead efforts to optimize backend services for throughput, latency, and cost efficiency across distributed infrastructure. • Design and manage Kubernetes-based workloads, including GitOps deployment pipelines, environment configuration, and resource utilization optimization. • Own and improve critical parts of the service lifecycle, including packaging, versioning, testing strategies, validation, and deployment automation. • Implement and evolve observability practices (metrics, logging, tracing, alerting) to improve visibility and operational resilience of backend services and pipelines. • Partner closely with product, infrastructure, security, and data teams to design scalable platform capabilities that enable new product features. • Contribute to technical design discussions, propose architectural improvements, and mentor junior engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing. • Participate in and help improve operational processes, including incident response, on-call rotations, and post-incident reviews.

• Focus on connectivity validation across Azure environments • Contribute to services that simulate real customer scenarios by deploying resources in Azure and running automated network tests

• Designing and managing Cloud infrastructure on Azure, ensuring a robust, scalable, and secure platform that enables seamless access to patient records and applications • Implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible for repeatable, consistent, and automated deployments • Automating administrative tasks, enhancing operational efficiency, and providing innovative solutions • Implementing security measures that ensure compliance with healthcare regulations • Creating clear and thorough documentation for infrastructure configurations, policies, and troubleshooting procedures • Working closely with IT, security, DevOps, and project managers to align infrastructure strategies with organizational goals • Supporting process improvement using a creative, strategic, and innovative approach to data governance

• Assess the existing Azure environment, infrastructure dependencies, and modernization requirements to inform the target architecture • Design the Azure tenant structure, including management groups, subscriptions, landing zones, networking, and resource organization • Define cloud architecture standards, naming conventions, tagging strategies, and architecture decision records (ADRs) • Advise on identity and access management, including Entra ID, RBAC, PIM, Conditional Access, and least-privilege access models • Develop secure networking and connectivity patterns between Azure, on-premises systems, federal partners, and external integrations • Define Infrastructure-as-Code standards, reusable modules, repository structure, and CI/CD workflows for development teams • Produce architecture documentation, operational guidance, governance artifacts, and platform runbooks to support long-term maintainability
