• Craft and execute innovative strategies to execute quarterly compliance testing, conduct QC reviews of controls, and document findings, ensuring Engine stays ahead in the industry and remains audit-defensible from day one. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to unlock new opportunities and deliver seamless experiences for our customers by assisting with compliance reviews for new product launches, feature releases, and marketing campaigns across all product lines (Engine X, Direct Bill, Travel, and Rewards). • Lead the day-to-day governance of Engine's Compliance Management System (CMS), including BSA/AML oversight, regulatory change tracking, and policy maintenance to enhance efficiency, scalability, and customer satisfaction. • Provide exceptional support and insights to our clients, ensuring every interaction with Engine exceeds expectations by systematically quality-checking automated outputs, managing complaint trend reporting, and ensuring strict compliance with banking partner and regulatory standards.
Job Requirements
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in fintech, banking, payments, or regulated financial services compliance.
- You're a problem-solver with working knowledge of BSA/AML, Regulation Z, UDAAP, and compliance testing/monitoring, and you thrive in fast-paced, innovative environments.
- Bonus points if you're fluent in Salesforce, JIRA, SEON, or compliance automation tools.
- You're ready to roll up your sleeves, collaborate, and deliver results that matter in a lean team environment with high ownership expectations.

Role Description IEM is looking to bring on a Full Time Grant Compliance Specialist III to join our team. The Grant Compliance Specialist III is responsible for supporting the full lifecycle administration of federal and sub-grantee awards, including: - Pre-award coordination - Post-award management - Compliance monitoring - Financial tracking - Reporting - Documentation - Closeout This position ensures that grant-funded activities are administered in accordance with federal statutes, regulations, award terms and conditions, organizational policies, and applicable public health program requirements. The role serves as a key liaison among program teams, finance, leadership, funding agencies, and subrecipients to promote accountability, timely reporting, appropriate use of funds, and strong grant performance. The selected Grant Compliance Specialist III will possess knowledge and experience in Federal Cooperative Agreements and related compliance and reporting for the state of California. Primary Location: Live anywhere within the United States or Puerto Rico that meets personal office/at home requirements. Preference will be given to candidates who live in California, particularly those in the Sacramento area.
