Physician Instructor – General Surgery

• Specialists in the field and highly qualified. • Responsible for the module and for recording all lectures. • Responsible for curating the material produced by content authors. • Responsible for live classes and live sessions for the course, including monthly live sessions. • Production of rich media content for communications and media. • Recommend/select the medical content author for the production of the e-book, learning tracks, and slides for the video lectures. • Responsible for answering students' questions together with the coordination team. • Given priority to conduct student preceptorship via telemedicine. • Provide guidance to students for on-site internships/practical sessions via the virtual learning environment (LMS/VLE). • Provide guidance and programming for local preceptors for in-person internships. • Meetings with Coordination and Academic Management.

Job Requirements

  • Medical degree recognized by the MEC (Brazilian Ministry of Education).
  • Active registration with the Regional Medical Council (CRM).
  • Medical residency in General Surgery.
  • Proven practical experience in General Surgery.
  • Experience teaching at the higher-education level.
  • Good written communication skills and ability to organize content.
  • Familiarity with virtual learning environments (LMS/VLE) is considered a differential.
