Role Description This is a full-time, direct placement role at Citadel Roofing and Solar. - Status: Commission Only - Location: Remote – Preferably based in Northern California - Reports To: Solar Sales Manager Citadel Roofing & Solar is seeking a driven and experienced Outside Energy Consultant to join our residential sales team. You’ll build relationships with homeowners, identify their roofing and energy needs, and present customized solar and battery solutions that deliver the best value and performance. The ideal candidate has experience in roofing, solar, or construction sales—preferably in-home sales experience—and is based in Northern California. This position requires excellent communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to guide homeowners confidently through the sales process from consultation to close. - Meet and exceed monthly sales goals - Qualify leads, design systems, and close deals - Conduct in-home consultations to educate homeowners - Follow up on company-provided and self-generated leads - Generate referrals through exceptional customer experiences - Negotiate contracts with professionalism and integrity - Maintain CRM pipeline and update customer records - Partner with operations for a smooth installation process Qualifications - Preferably 2+ years of roofing, solar, or construction sales experience - Preferably in-home sales experience - Proven ability to manage a full sales cycle - Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills - Highly organized and proficient with CRM and Microsoft Office - Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently - Willing to travel frequently throughout Northern California - Clean DMV record (no DUIs within the past 5 years) Benefits - Industry-leading training and ongoing support - Competitive commission structure with unlimited earning potential - Opportunities for advancement within a growing organization - A mission-driven, team-oriented culture built on integrity and results

• Expand the VP Racing Branded Retail footprint across the West Coast region • Prospect, pitch, and close new branded retail opportunities across C-stores, marinas, cardlocks, and car washes • Partner with fuel distributors and independent operators to deliver VP’s branding and retail solutions • Develop strategic growth plans and manage a strong sales pipeline • Collaborate with leadership to influence marketing, branding, and business strategy • Represent VP Racing at industry events, trade shows, and partner meetings
