Job Description
Project Delivery Manager
Optasia
Role Description We’re hiring a Project Delivery Manager to drive POC-to-launch deployments across multiple African markets — at the nexus of commercial and project delivery. This is not a role for the faint-hearted, or the comfortable. You’ll own delivery end-to-end: - Bringing real PM framework and method - Formal planning - Rigorous follow-up and action management You’ll be client-facing, sitting where commercial deals meet project execution, holding super vendors, MNOs, banks, and utilities to account — and just as often, being the only Finergi presence in the room when you do it. We work fast, and often in ambiguity. Plans change, markets differ, and the people who thrive here are the ones who: - Adapt quickly - Impose structure on the chaos - Chase every action to closure without being asked Qualifications - 5–7 years of hands-on project delivery experience - Track record of taking projects from concept through to commercial launch - Strong command of project management frameworks and methodologies - Experience in payments, lending, or fintech - Exposure to delivery across Sub-Saharan Africa - Confidence managing external stakeholders in commercially driven environments - Experience delivering complex technical or system integration projects - Familiarity with Agile environments and working with development and QA teams - Experience supporting product launches or go-to-market initiatives Requirements - Ability to impose order on ambiguity - Comfortable being personally accountable for outcomes Benefits - Opportunity to build, own, and deliver
