Level 2 NOC Systems Administrator – Windows Focus
Unisys
• Administers Windows development, test, and production servers including reloading, re-imaging, patching, GPO configuration, and OS hardening. • Diagnoses and resolves complex Windows OS, Active Directory, and server connectivity issues. • Performs daily monitoring of Windows systems, services, and performance; initiates proactive remediation. • Installs, removes, and upgrades Windows-based software packages and agents. • Owns Level 2 Windows-related tickets through resolution, including root cause analysis. • Provides system evaluation reports and contributes to operational recommendations for Windows environments. • Updates system records, ensures licensing compliance, and maintains accurate configuration data for Windows assets. • Creates runbooks and how-to guides; trains Level 1 analysts on Windows procedures.
Job Requirements
- BA/BS degree and 2–4 years of relevant experience OR equivalent combination.
- Strong experience with Windows troubleshooting and server administration.
- Ability to support 24×7 operations and rotating shifts.
- U.S. Citizenship and U.S. residency required.
