Role Description With over forty pharmacies in twenty states and cutting-edge technology, Apotheco Medicinals is one of the leading pharmacies specializing in the dispensing of dermatological therapies. This position will serve as the primary support professional to the General Counsel and the Legal Department. As a member of the legal team, the Sr. Legal Analyst is responsible for aiding the General Counsel in their management of all legal services and advice for the Company. - Preparation and submission of all regulatory filings including but not limited to 50-state board of pharmacy licenses, DEA registrations, Medicare, and state Medicaid registrations for individual Company pharmacies. - Maintenance of all credentials for pharmacy benefit managers (“PMS”) for individual Company pharmacies. - Assist with legal and compliance due diligence on acquisition targets and oversee integration of new locations into Apotheco’s portfolio of companies. - Maintain the corporate formation documents and manage the formation of new entities to ensure registration at appropriate county, city, state and federal levels. - Assist GC with initial review of contracts, leases and other legal documents. - Maintain contract and licensure database for the Company. - Assist with regulatory trainings and policy development. - Coordinate with Company stakeholders such as the Operations, IT, and Human Resources Departments to resolve legal or compliance issues. - Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications - Pharmacy or healthcare experience preferred but not required. - College degree strongly preferred. - Contract management experience preferred. - Ability to communicate effectively within various levels of the organization. - Ability to work remotely with travel as needed. • Serve as a subject matter expert for Epic Grand Central and Prelude, with additional exposure to inpatient and ancillary modules as needed. • Support ongoing system operations including incident resolution, ticket triage, maintenance, and optimization activities. • Participate in Epic upgrades, testing cycles, and deployment activities, ensuring minimal disruption to clinical and operational workflows. • Work closely with operations teams, FTE analysts, project managers, and technical staff to translate business needs into system solutions. • Develop, analyze, and maintain clinical and operational requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and Epic best practices. • Support and configure functionality related to: Bed planning and capacity management, Transfer Center workflows, Security and electronic signature (e-Sign), Peripheral device integration, Operational dashboards and reporting tools. • Assist in defining and documenting functional specifications, workflows, interface requirements, and system enhancements. • Participate in unit testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and validation activities for system changes and enhancements. • Provide ongoing end-user support, troubleshooting, and workflow optimization recommendations. • Document system changes, release notes, testing results, and training materials in accordance with change control processes. • Collaborate across Epic application teams supporting inpatient, ambulatory, ancillary, and revenue cycle workflows as needed. • Contribute to process improvement initiatives, identifying gaps and recommending enhancements to improve efficiency and patient care workflows. • Support stakeholder communication, including status updates, issue tracking, and escalation management. • Participate in meetings, working sessions, and project governance activities to ensure alignment and timely delivery of objectives. • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts or team members as appropriate.
