Role Description Position: [Swiss Branch MS ID Sales] Business Development Manager (f/m/d) Department: LGEWEA.ID Sales Location: Dietikon / Switzerland What you’ll do: - Analyse, segment and target untapped market areas within the assigned sub-vertical for LG´s Information Display solutions (MNT, Signage, Commercial TVs, LED). - Define the ecosystem and the stakeholders of the target key customers and develop activities to increase the customer base in her/his sub-vertical either directly or by vertical specialized system integrators or value added resellers. - Identify new demand in the assigned vertical sub-industries by key account management and vertical ecosystem partners’ networking. - Develop a customer offering based on the internal portfolio of LG, but also on external components and services with partnership that can make LG offering more competitive. - Support and guide the country sales organizations to penetrate locally his/her sub vertical by providing presentations, market data and trainings. - Define the activity plan to increase presence of LG in the industry events either directly or via partners. - Delivers weekly update on activity and opportunity forecast. Follows up on Business Plan and several execution targets. Reports monthly on account development. - Utilize the Salesforce system to keep track of the activities for the opportunities in which he/she works and provide transparent reporting to all internal stakeholders. - Collaborate with logistics and service department to follow up or develop processes in order to maintain a high service level and customer satisfaction during sales execution and after sales. - Role can be located in home office/office, but is required 50% travelling. The role reports to the Information Display Team Leader, located in Vienna, Austria. Qualifications - Responsible for driving business in the French-speaking region of Switzerland (Romandie). The role is fully remote, a location within this region is preferred. - 3 to 5 years' business development / international sales experience in the Retail/Corporate/Education vertical, preferably in Pro AV, IT or Hardware System Solutions with LED or Displays in functions of Business Development, Key Account Management, Pre-Sales. - Bachelor in Business Administration, Marketing or other related field. MBA can be of added value. - Strategic acumen and ability to understand and adapt to the B2B ecosystem (VAR, SI and End Customer) of his sub-vertical. - Analytical skills and able to articulate complex issues and solutions with concrete actions and measurable results. - Innovative and out of the box thinker. - Able to build trustful relationships in C-level. - Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills. - Result driven with proven track record. - Leading personality able to inspire, engage and lead by example his local colleagues and his customers. - Entrepreneurial and proactive able to work across functions, business units and countries. - Solution Selling and new customer acquisition. - Excellent verbal and written communication in German and English, French or Italian are an advantage.
