What You’ll Do: - Identify all required permits for road crossings, foreign utility crossings, rail crossings, water crossings, and special/conditional use scenarios. - Conduct in-depth research using online databases, courthouse records, and recorded documents to determine permitting requirements. - Utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to perform property research and maintain accurate mapping and data records. - Apply knowledge of real property concepts and instruments to ensure compliance with permit-related regulations and documentation standards. Qualifications - Minimum of six (6) years of Utility Permitting or a related field. - Must be proficient with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook. - Must have an iOS or Android smartphone to be able to access ORC's systems. - Valid Driver’s License. Requirements - Works efficiently and effectively under tight deadlines. - Can prioritize and balance multiple tasks. - Demonstrates strong organization and planning skills. - Is analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. - Has excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Thrives in a fast-paced administrative setting. - Provides strong customer service experience. - Can adapt to new systems and software environments.
