Job Description
AI Engineer – Specialist II
Grupo Boticário
• The GenAI Platform team at Grupo Boticário advances Agentes GB and the corporate generative AI ecosystem, enabling business areas to create and operate AI agents with governance, security, and controlled costs. • Design and implement agentive solutions in a corporate environment — orchestration of LLMs, reasoning flows, use of external tools, and integration with company APIs and data. • Design Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines with indexing, retrieval, and context enrichment to increase accuracy and reduce hallucinations. • Enhance agents' ability to query knowledge bases, analytical data, and corporate systems with appropriate authentication and access control. • Ensure observability, inference cost management, model versioning, and security in cloud-based LLM applications. • Contribute to Agentes GB, context hubs for models, and internal SDKs; support consumer squads in adopting self-service agents. • Serve as a technical reference for 1 to 3 developers — architectural decisions, code reviews, mentorship, and alignment with management and product.
Job Requirements
- Generative AI experience: Experience in designing, developing, and operating LLM-based applications in production, preferably in corporate environments.
- Advanced fluency in Python and mastery of agent orchestration ecosystems (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex).
- Experience with embeddings, chunking, and semantic search in vector databases or equivalent solutions.
- Experience with cloud providers (GCP or AWS), managed AI services (Vertex AI, Bedrock), and API integration with corporate authentication (OAuth2, OIDC).
- Ability to choose between RAG, prompt engineering, and fine-tuning, focusing on latency, cost, and reliability.
- Minimum experience: 3 to 5 years in software, with experience in generative AI or LLMs.
- Plus: Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) or context architectures for LLMs.
- Experience with multi-tenant or self-service platforms for agent creation.
- AI FinOps — monitoring and optimization of inference costs.
- Integration of agents into corporate channels (Slack, Teams, or similar).
- Familiarity with React/Next.js and active tracking of innovations in agents and GenAI.
- Market-aware profile: naturally curious and always seeking up-to-date knowledge on developments in the AI field.
