Treasury Analyst
Connexus Credit Union
• Support daily liquidity management, investment operations, and asset liability management for the credit union • Prepare ALM reporting, maintain collateral and funding sources, and administer investment settlements, safekeeping, and related accounting activities • Provide analysis and reporting to help leadership make sound balance sheet and risk management decisions • Monitor daily cash positions and short-term liquidity requirements • Analyze cash flow forecasts and recommend optimal liquidity strategies • Ensure sufficient funding availability to support operations, lending activities, and strategic initiatives • Execute and monitor investment transactions within board-approved policies • Coordinate investment settlements, safekeeping instructions, and custodial functions • Manage existing borrowing facilities and evaluate alternative funding sources • Prepare quarterly ALM file inputs, validate data sources, and reconcile key assumptions prior to model runs • Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and NCUA guidance
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience is Required
- 3+ years of experience as a treasury analyst, financial analyst, staff accountant, or in a related role is Required
- Prior experience working within a credit union or banking institution is Required
- Proficiency with Excel, Power BI and financial reporting tools is Required
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and financial modeling skills is Required
- Working knowledge of investment instruments, interest rate concepts, and balance sheet management is Required
