Manager, Platform Analytics
Origami Risk
• Defines and owns the end-to-end analytics strategy for Product & Technology, ensuring alignment across system reliability, operational performance, and product growth objectives • Builds, mentors, and manages a high-performing team of analysts and specialists supporting platform operations and product lifecycle insights • Leads performance management and compensation processes for assigned team members, including completing year-end reviews • Establishes best practices for operational and product-led metrics, reporting, and data governance to ensure a unified "source of truth" • Prioritizes analytics initiatives based on operational risk, business impact, and the roadmap to support both stability and innovation • Owns measurement frameworks for OLAs, KPIs, and product success signals (e.g., retention, churn, and feature adoption) • Partners with internal teams to measure platform performance, reliability, and user behavior patterns to drive scalability • Analyzes trends in incidents and outages while investigating user friction points to identify root causes and prevention opportunities • Supports infrastructure capacity planning and utilization analysis alongside user growth and demand forecasting • Develops transparency into platform costs and efficiency, as well as the ROI of product features and enhancements • Acts as a lead analytics advisor to the Director of Platform Operations, Product Management, and senior leadership • Converts complex operational and behavioral datasets into clear, actionable recommendations for diverse stakeholders • Enables leadership to navigate tradeoffs between technical reliability, development speed, cost, and user experience • Ensures the accuracy and consistency of all operational data and product telemetry/instrumentation • Collaborates with Data Engineering and Product teams to enhance data pipelines, models, and event-tracking frameworks • Builds dashboards and tools providing real-time visibility into platform health and product performance • Maintains comprehensive documentation for all operational and product-related metrics and definitions • Proactively collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to identify improvements, deliver data solutions, and measure impact
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Analytics, Information Technology, or similar required. Advanced degree is a plus
- 7+ years of experience in analytics, data, or platform operations
- 3+ years of leading or managing teams
- Proven experience defining analytics strategy and measurement frameworks for technology platforms or infrastructure systems
- Strong expertise in operational analytics, including reliability, performance, availability, capacity planning, and cost optimization
- Hands-on experience with analytics, AI analytics, and BI tools and working with large, complex datasets
- Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with Product, Engineering, and Platform Operations in a technical environment
- Experience translating complex technical and operational data into clear, actionable insights for senior leaders
- Working knowledge of SLAs/OLAs, KPIs, incident management, and operational risk metrics
- Experience collaborating with Data Engineering on data quality, pipelines, instrumentation, and governance
- Strong people leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with the Origami product across multiple markets is appreciated but not required
