Senior Presales Solution Consultant

Merative

• Lead discovery-informed product demonstrations for Truven Market solutions, tailoring the story, workflow, and value proposition to each audience and use case. • Partner with sales leaders and account executives to support qualified opportunities, improve deal progression, and strengthen customer understanding of Truven’s capabilities. • Translate complex healthcare data, reporting, benchmarking, and analytics capabilities into clear business outcomes for employers, health plans, government agencies, and other market segments. • Develop and maintain demo environments, scripts, workflows, and talk tracks that reflect current product functionality, market priorities, and buyer needs. • Serve as a subject matter resource for sales teams by providing product positioning guidance, competitive insights, objection handling, and practical examples of solution value. • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, customer success, and sales enablement teams to align demo content with roadmap updates, messaging, and market feedback. • Proactively identify common customer questions, objections, demo gaps, and enablement needs, and recommend improvements that increase demo effectiveness and sales readiness. • Support RFPs, finalist presentations, webinars, customer briefings, and strategic sales events where product demonstration or solution expertise is required.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in presales, solution consulting, demo strategy, sales engineering, product enablement, customer success, or a related customer-facing role.
  • Strong ability to explain complex data, analytics, reporting, or technology solutions to business and executive audiences in a clear, practical, and persuasive way.
  • Healthcare, benefits, employer, payer, government, or population health analytics experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to partner with sales teams throughout the opportunity lifecycle, including discovery, demo preparation, customer presentation, objection handling, and follow-up.
  • Experience creating demo scripts, use-case narratives, sales enablement materials, product talk tracks, or customer-facing presentation content.
  • Comfortable working independently as a senior individual contributor while influencing cross-functional partners without direct authority.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt messaging by audience, and operate effectively in a fast-paced commercial environment.
