Senior Sales Engineer
Brinqa
• Collaborate with account executives to understand customer pain points and map Brinqa solutions to their business needs. • Deliver compelling technical presentations, product demonstrations, and live solution walkthroughs to executive audiences (CISO, CIO, CTO). • Lead technical proofs of value (POVs) and pilot engagements, ensuring successful customer outcomes and measurable ROI. • Assist in the design and scoping of complex solutions, including integrations with other security tools and platforms. • Act as a technical advisor and trusted expert, guiding prospects through technical evaluations and addressing technical objections. • Partner with product management to relay customer feedback and market trends, influencing future product roadmap decisions. • Develop and deliver training and enablement materials for both internal teams and external partners. • Support RFP and security assessment responses, ensuring accurate technical positioning of Brinqa solutions. • Stay current with industry trends, competitive solutions, and emerging technologies in cybersecurity, AppSec, vulnerability management, and CTEM.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of technical sales engineering, solutions consulting, or similar customer-facing experience in the cybersecurity industry.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts such as vulnerability management, CTEM, risk quantification, and security operations.
- Experience working with large, complex enterprise customers across EMEA in high-stakes sales cycles.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise security tools, including vulnerability scanners, SIEM, SOAR, endpoint protection, and cloud security platforms.
- Excellent communication skills – able to explain complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Self-motivated, with a high degree of technical aptitude and curiosity.
- Familiarity with APIs, scripting, and integrations between security platforms is a strong plus.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously.
- Prior experience in vulnerability management, risk-based prioritization, or CTEM highly desirable.
- Experience with Tenable, Rapid7, Qualys, Wiz, Snyk or similar cybersecurity platforms.
- Technical certifications such as CISSP, CEH, OSCP, or equivalent.
- Experience working in a high-growth cybersecurity or SaaS company.
