• Plan, prepare, and implement instructional activities that contribute to a climate where students are actively engaged in meaningful learning experiences • Identify, select, create, and modify instructional resources to meet the needs of the students with varying backgrounds, learning styles, and special needs • Assist in assessing changing curricular needs and offer plans for improvement • Maintain effective and efficient record-keeping procedures • Provide a positive environment in which students are encouraged to be actively engaged in the learning process • Communicate with students, parents, and internal and external professionals within established timelines • Collaborate with peers to enhance the instructional environment for students by participating in activities which include, but are not limited to, team teaching, meetings, staff development, communities of practice, and various committees • Model professional and ethical standards when dealing with students, parents, peers, and community members • Ensure that student growth and achievement are continuous and appropriate for age group, subject area, and/or program classification • Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with students, parents, schools, and colleagues measured by FLVS district/school survey results • Meet specific course and school-wide student performance goals • Demonstrate gains in student performance • Participate in research and presentations about online teaching; this may include activities such as, authoring articles, hosting workshops, sharing of information for professional growth, and student outreach events and activities • Participate in blended learning models, which include both online and classroom instruction and interaction with students at various schools and districts across the state; may be required to report to an assigned school • May be responsible for instructional tutoring • Meet professional obligations through efficient work habits such as, meeting deadlines, honoring schedules, coordinating resources and meetings in an effective and timely manner, and demonstrating respect for others
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Valid Florida Professional Teaching Certificate in content area assigned OR proof of active enrollment in a state-approved EPI or MAT program AND either a valid Florida state-issued Statement of Eligibility OR valid Temporary Certificate in content area assigned
- Endorsements as required by Florida Department of Education
- Three years’ teaching experience, preferred
- Operational knowledge of the Internet and Web-related technologies
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
- Work independently with little direct supervision
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate on group projects and work as part of a team

Role Description The CAD Drafter 1 will support NTS Engineering and process facilities with sustainable CAD drafting and drawing/design management activities, along with supporting engineering project needs across the company. - Work with Engineers and Salesmen to develop basic engineering plans and Sales drawings. - Prepare drawings from rough sketches, notes, marked-up prints, written/verbal instructions with CAD, and other design software. - Translate existing plans into NTS formats. - Develop new drawing methods/processes. Qualifications - High School Diploma: associate/technical degree preferred. - Minimum (1) one year's experience as a CAD drafter. Requirements - Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and REVIT. - Basic knowledge of all NTS equipment. - Proficient in researching the current state of CAD practice. - Basic knowledge of the OSHA and applicable state and local requirements relative to Trench and Excavation Shoring and Shielding.

• Communicates with insureds, injured workers, agents, brokers, witnesses, attorneys, loss prevention, and underwriters to obtain and relate necessary information to determine coverage/compensability, facts of loss, and degree of liability/exposure. • Administers the delivery of timely, appropriate and accurate indemnity and medical benefits. • Evaluates claim exposure, negotiate and resolve claims. Works closely with defense counsel on litigated cases and attend mediation, arbitration, and hearings, as necessary. Develops litigation plan with defense counsel and tracks adherence to plan in order to control legal expenses and assure effective resolution. • Works closely with insureds and employees making visitations and presentations as needed to facilitate partnership approach to claims handling. • Maintains quality claim files in accordance with appropriate best practices, and other company procedures. • Implements Managed Care strategies, coordinate rehabilitation or medical management, process bills, review all mail through Image Right, and monitor progress as appropriate. • Interacts with State and Federal Boards and Commissions, while establishing and maintaining proper reserves, as appropriate. • Serves as a mentor and helps prepare/train the less experienced Claim Department representatives. • Keeps up-to-date on State laws and Company procedures relating to various claims; educates injured worker and/or insured on same. • Prepares and presents files for Agent/Broker Reviews and Insured File Review. • Understands medical terminology and standard medical procedures as they pertain to worker’s compensation, U.S. Longshoreman’s and Jones Act claims. • Participates in in-house and outside training programs to keep up-to-date on relevant issues/topics. • Maintains a working knowledge of all computer systems currently in use. • Travels throughout States as required to handle claims inventory assigned. • Continues education in claims through Associate in Claims or Claims Law (AEI) courses.
