• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for healthcare claims processing enhancements. • Work closely with developers to translate business needs into technical solutions. • Analyze existing system functionality and assess the impact of requested changes. • Document business processes, workflows, use cases, and functional specifications. • Facilitate discussions with technical teams, business stakeholders, and project leadership. • Build strong relationships across cross-functional teams. • Clearly communicate project status, risks, issues, and recommendations. • Support planning activities for system enhancements and future modernization initiatives. • Support testing efforts, including requirements validation and defect analysis. • Assist with system integration planning and implementation activities. • Validate delivered functionality meets documented business requirements. • Participate in solution reviews and continuous process improvement initiatives. • Develop and maintain business analysis documentation throughout the project lifecycle. • Identify opportunities to improve business processes and operational efficiency. • Ensure documentation remains current and aligned with evolving business needs.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of Business Analyst experience.
- Experience supporting healthcare or insurance claims processing systems.
- Strong understanding of claims processing and payment workflows.
- Experience gathering, documenting, and validating functional requirements.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable facilitating discussions in a fully remote environment.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across technical and business teams.
