• Development of existing backend and frontend services for the Athelas device product: improving our infrastructure, architecting and building robust, scalable back-end service • Translate product requirements into technical solutions • Implementation of cybersecurity best practices throughout the software development lifecycle • Collaborate with engineering, operations, quality, and regulatory functions to ensure that production software systems meet both operational, security, and regulatory requirements • Utilize a stack comprising Python, Flask, React, Postgres, Kubernetes, Docker • Apply problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently, ensuring the stability and performance of our systems • Establish and enforce best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment

• Build AI-powered educator tools: Develop features like smart classroom insights, behavior coaching strategies, leadership hubs, and real-time support tools for teachers and directors • Work with structured LLM outputs: Design and maintain chained generation pipelines where each AI output feeds into the next • Ship fullstack features end-to-end: From database schema to API endpoint to React UI — you own it all • Architect for multi-tenancy: Build and improve a SaaS platform that serves multiple schools with proper data isolation • Collaborate with Product: Work directly with the AI Product Manager to refine requirements, propose solutions, and iterate quickly

• Build for our patients by keeping technical decisions patient-centered. • Contribute to architectural decisions and implement technical standards through code reviews. • Collaborate with Product Managers and stakeholders on complex projects. • Serve as a technical resource and mentor other engineers.
