Job Description
Founding Sales
Softr
• Develop and define the sales process: Build the sales process from the ground up, and acting as the first dedicated salesperson to transition the company from founder-led sales to a more scalable model. • Take full ownership of the sales cycle, from identifying and prospecting potential customers to closing deals. • Prospect and qualify leads: Identify potential customers, develop relationships, and qualify leads and manage the sales pipeline through inbound and/or outbound efforts. • Expand customer accounts: Help customers identify more use cases to use Softr and expand their usage of Softr - growing revenue in the process. • Lead the company’s efforts in selling our horizontal products across multiple company segments as well as customer profiles (from SMBs to large organisations). • Set up systems and processes: Establish or expand on existing foundational sales systems and data tracking, as many may not be in place. • Collaborate with the founder: Work closely with the founder to refine messaging and strategies based on real-world customer feedback.
Job Requirements
- Resilience and grit: The ability to handle uncertainty, overcome challenges, and remain motivated without a large sales team for support.
- Go-getter: Strong entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to operate in ambiguity and take initiative.
- Adaptability and a willingness to experiment: The capacity to try new approaches and iterate on strategies since the company is still discovering what works.
- Proactive and self-starting: The ability to work with minimal direction and take initiative to drive results.
- Strong selling skills: 3-5+ years of proven track record of direct B2B SaaS selling and achieving results.
- Experience in the automation and no-code space is a plus.
- Results-oriented: A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical buyers.
- Customer obsessed: A passion for building long-term relationships with customers and helping them succeed.
- A strong technical foundation: You’re fluent in no-code and automation tools (bonus if you’ve already built in Softr… and if you have, you should share what you've built!)
