Home Care Aide – Private Duty
VITALE NURSING INC
• Assist patients with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support • Provide personal care and companionship in private residences or hotel recovery suites • Support with light meal preparation, feeding assistance, and hydration reminders • Perform non-medical medication reminders only (no administration) • Assist with household tasks related to patient care (tidying patient’s area, laundry, etc.) • Provide safety supervision, fall prevention, and mobility assistance • Report patient observations and changes in condition to the supervising RN, LVN, or CNA • Document daily care provided according to Vitale Nursing, Inc. policy
Job Requirements
- Valid Home Care Aide (HCA) Registration with the California Department of Social Services (CDSS)
- Current CPR/BLS Certification
- Reliable transportation
- Professional, punctual, and trustworthy demeanor
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Three professional references
- Successful completion of a background check and fingerprint clearance

• Review, correct, and resolve claim errors to facilitate the accurate and timely submission of claims to insurance carriers. • Perform billing activities within assigned work queues. • Research and correct claim discrepancies. • Ensure compliance with established standard operating procedures, payer requirements, and organizational policies. • Apply established SOPs and payer-specific guidelines when resolving claim edits and rejections. • Submit corrected claims within established productivity and quality standards. • Document claim corrections, actions taken, and outcomes in accordance with departmental procedures. • Monitor assigned work queues and prioritize tasks to meet required turnaround times. • Identify recurring claim issues and communicate trends or concerns to the Billing Lead. • Participate in training activities and process improvement initiatives. • Collaborate with team members and other departments to obtain information necessary for claim resolution. • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, payer requirements, and organizational policies regarding patient and billing information. • Perform other duties as assigned.
• The Credentialing Specialist is responsible for coordinating and managing the credentialing, recredentialing, and privileging processes for healthcare providers supporting federal, state, tribal, and other government healthcare contracts. • This position ensures compliance with contract requirements, regulatory standards, accreditation guidelines, and organizational policies. • The Credentialing Specialist serves as the primary liaison between providers, contracting agencies, licensing boards, and internal departments to ensure providers are fully credentialed and eligible for assignment. • Maintain accurate and complete credentialing files in accordance with contract and regulatory requirements. • Monitor expiration dates and proactively obtain updated documentation before expiration. • Ensure compliance with requirements established by Indian Health Service (IHS), Department of Defense (DoD), Veterans Affairs (VA), and The Joint Commission. • Review contract-specific credentialing requirements and ensure provider files meet all standards prior to deployment. • Assist with provider onboarding and clearance processes required for federal facilities. • Conduct periodic audits of credentialing files to ensure accuracy and compliance. • Generate reports on credentialing status, upcoming expirations, and provider readiness. • Identify opportunities to improve credentialing workflows and turnaround times.
