Requirements - Must be currently legally able to work full time in Canada. - This is a full-time, permanent career opportunity; we are not hiring for part-time or temporary summer student positions. - Must be able to work from 5:30 PM to 2:00 AM or 6:30 PM to 3:00 AM (your choice), including weekends and holidays, with periodic weekends off. - This is a remote (work from home) role; you must reside in and be working from one of these provinces: NB, NS, or PEI. - Must attend 4.5 weeks of onsite initial training in Moncton; travel and accommodation provided for qualified candidates. - Must have a suitable workspace and a high-speed, direct internet connection (no wireless or satellite). • Design, deploy, and manage highly available database platforms including Apache Cassandra, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Google BigQuery across multi-cloud environments. • Build, operate, and optimize data streaming infrastructure using Amazon MSK (Kafka) and Google Pub/Sub. • Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud automation using Python. • Implement comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and observability for data platform services. • Partner with application development teams to optimize application performance.
