Role Description We are seeking obesity medicine physicians to provide longitudinal telehealth care for patients with obesity, and to collaborate with advanced practice professionals and registered dietitians towards exceptional team-based care. Work is remote, and schedules can be flexible. We are currently accepting applications for a FTE (40 hours per week) Obesity Medicine Physician or Endocrinologist opportunity, who are licensed in GA. This role will include participation in a rotating after hours call schedule with Form Health clinical leadership and will have a reduced clinical schedule the weeks of on-call coverage. This is a Modified Full Time position based in a remote, telemedicine clinical setting. The physician will work closely with a supportive care team and have protected time for administrative duties. - Provide direct patient care in a clinical setting, focusing on evidence-based obesity treatment and chronic weight management. - Collaborate with Registered Dietitians. - Provide treatment planning and medical management support for complex cases or escalated concerns. - Prescribe non-controlled obesity medications for patients under direct care. - Ensure clinical documentation, protocols, and treatment pathways are followed consistently within the team. - Assist in the professional development of APPs by fostering clinical growth, offering feedback, and supporting continuing education. - Participate in team-based care initiatives and contribute to a culture of collaboration and high-quality care. - Attend relevant departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement efforts within the obesity medicine program. Qualifications - MD or DO degree with board certification; must be an American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM) diplomate or board certified in Endocrinology. - Licensed to practice and prescribe legally in GA. - LOQ (Letter of Qualification) with the IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact) is preferred. - Credentialed with insurance payers (strong preference for multiple state licenses). - Excellent interpersonal skills for patient and team interactions. - Committed to the highest quality of medical care and an evidence-based approach to obesity management. - Prior experience conducting telemedicine visits with a great "web-side" manner. - Prior experience working collaboratively with advanced practice professionals and registered dietitians. - Bilingual candidates with medical fluency in Spanish are highly preferred.
