Summary of the Role: As Senior Manager of Content & Product Marketing at Maze, you'll be the architect of our content engine and product marketing strategy, creating compelling narratives that drive pipeline generation and revenue growth for our AI-powered cybersecurity platform. This is a unique opportunity to join as one of the early GTM team members of a well-funded startup building at the intersection of generative AI and cybersecurity, where you'll build our content function from the ground up while establishing product marketing practices that scale with hypergrowth. You'll take full ownership of content strategy and execution—from working with security experts to create technical content in non-traditional formats, to crafting product positioning and sales enablement materials that accelerate deal velocity. Your success will be measured by revenue impact and pipeline generation, not content volume or vanity metrics. This role is perfect for someone who thinks creatively about content beyond traditional B2B playbooks, has strong security domain expertise or can quickly get up to speed, and wants the opportunity to own both content and product marketing as we scale from early traction to market leadership. Within a year, you'll grow into a Director role leading a team as we expand our content and product marketing capabilities to support our next phase of growth. Your Contributions to Our Journey: Pioneer Non-Traditional Content Formats: Create and execute breakthrough content strategies that move beyond standard blogs and ebooks—think podcasts, video series, technical exploit-style content, and other creative formats that establish Maze as a thought leader while generating qualified pipeline through storytelling that resonates with technical security buyers Build Player-Coach Content Engine: Execute directly on content creation by working with security experts and internal engineering teams to translate complex AI and security concepts into compelling narratives, while simultaneously developing the strategy and processes that will scale our content function as we grow Own Product Marketing and Positioning: Define and evolve our product messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategy for our agentic vulnerability management platform, ensuring every product launch and feature release drives measurable customer adoption and revenue impact Drive Sales Enablement Excellence: Develop comprehensive sales enablement materials including battle cards, competitive positioning, demo scripts, product training, and customer success stories that accelerate deal velocity and improve win rates across our sales organization Lead Strategic Marketing Initiatives: Support and contribute to high-impact projects including our website relaunch and Q1 remediation product launch, bringing product marketing discipline to ensure successful execution from concept through launch Scale Through Attention to Detail: Establish and maintain exceptionally high quality standards across all marketing outputs—from planning product launches to ensuring every comma is in the right place—setting the bar for excellence as we scale Partner Cross-Functionally: Work in close partnership with sales leadership, product teams, and engineering to ensure marketing efforts directly support revenue goals, with daily collaboration across US and European time zones to maintain alignment and momentum What You Need to Be Successful: Creative Content Mindset: 5-8 years in B2B SaaS marketing with proven track record creating non-traditional content that breaks from standard B2B playbooks—we want to see examples of novel formats you've pioneered (podcasts, video series, unconventional campaigns) that drove meaningful business impact, not just "I wrote blogs and ebooks" Security Domain Expertise or Fast Learning Ability: Strong understanding of cloud security, vulnerability management, CVEs, and security workflows, OR demonstrated ability to quickly master complex technical domains and translate them into compelling content. Ideally you can discuss technical security concepts fluently with engineering teams and customers—this is a top priority for success in the role. Dual Marketing Experience: Hands-on experience in both content creation and product marketing execution—you can come from either background but must have proven success in both functions, with examples of building content strategies AND launching products that drove pipeline and revenue Build an AI-Native Company: We're building a new company in the AI era with the opportunity to design everything from the ground up - you'll pioneer AI-assisted marketing practices while building content and product marketing functions that scale with hypergrowth. Rapid Leadership Growth: Clear path to Director of Content & Product Marketing within a year, building and leading a team as we scale. Significant equity upside, direct partnership with experienced marketing leadership, and the opportunity to define our category through breakthrough content and positioning.
