Senior Purchasing Manager

MasTec Inc

Role Description The Senior Purchasing Manager is responsible for overseeing all purchasing process functions for Mastec Renewables. This position collaborates closely with internal teams, suppliers, and vendors, while maintaining high standards of compliance, efficiency, and continuous improvement. - Develops, improves, and maintains processes and systems utilized by the company while coordinating with stakeholders to ensure effective procurement activities. - Understands the life cycle of procurement activities and assists in processes throughout. - Provides technical support and assistance to strategic sourcing and purchasing teams. - Develops systems and reports that support procurement’s key performance indicator efforts. Qualifications - Associates or Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or related field. - Seven+ years relevant experience in purchasing or procurement, related to construction industry. - Previous experience with supply chain and inventory management. - Experience leading and managing others. - Experience negotiating Terms & Conditions (T&C’s), Prime Contracts, Master Service Agreements (MSA’s), Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA’s), Assignment of responsibilities, Liquidated Damages, Insurance & Bonding requirements, etc. Requirements - Take reasonable care of your own and others’ health and safety by taking personal responsibility for working toward the Company’s Zero Injury principles. - Strong computer skills and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. - Ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization and with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Strong knowledge and the ability to teach others use of procurement software systems and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. - Interpret, follow and explain a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. - Skilled in analyzing data and developing metrics that help the company in making informed decisions.
