Role Description As a Senior Backend Stack Engineer in the Core Platform Team, you’ll be a principal owner of the TMS (Translation Management System) Platform and connected services. Your responsibilities include: - Driving the architecture, reliability, and evolution of services covering translation workflow orchestration, vendor management, customer management, and integrations with internal services. - Setting the technical direction for these services, defining scalability, capabilities exposure, and maintaining quality standards. - Taking pride in building robust, well-designed systems and raising the technical level of the team. Qualifications - 5+ years of backend engineering experience in production environments. - Deep expertise in C#, .NET Core / .NET 8+, ASP.NET Web API, and microservices architecture. - Strong experience with distributed systems concepts. - Strong experience with AI developer tools. - Deep proficiency with relational databases (MSSQL and/or PostgreSQL). - Demonstrated experience making and documenting architectural decisions. - Hands-on DevOps experience. - Experience designing robust, versioned REST APIs. - Some frontend exposure (Vue.js and/or TypeScript). - A track record of mentoring and uplifting junior engineers. - Strong communication skills and English fluency. - Agile, collaborative, and opinionated in a constructive way. • Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Java Spring Boot and modern frontend applications using Angular. • Develop robust APIs, integrations, business services, and user-facing product functionality. • Apply strong engineering practices across development, including clean code, design patterns, secure coding, and maintainability. • Participate in system design, technical decomposition, code reviews, and design reviews. • Identify and resolve performance, scalability, reliability, and security issues across the application stack. • Use AI development tools responsibly to accelerate engineering delivery without compromising code quality, security, or architecture. • Support automated testing, CI/CD, deployment, and engineering best practices across the development lifecycle. • Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, designers, QA, and platform teams to deliver high-quality product increments. • Troubleshoot complex technical issues, support production rollouts, and contribute to continuous engineering improvement.
