OEM Account Manager
ABB
• Serve as the primary liaison for OEM customers, driving strategic account planning, customer satisfaction, and issue resolution. • Develop and execute sales and account strategies—including opportunity prioritization, training plans, and recovery actions—to achieve growth, margin, and market‑share targets. • Identify and secure new OEM customers through proactive outreach, networking, and cross‑functional collaboration while monitoring competitive activity and market trends. • Communicate customer needs internally and create added value through coordinated sales efforts, cross‑selling, and deep understanding of customer business drivers.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in STEM (preferred) or Business and 1+ years' experience, OR, Associate's Degree and 3+ years' experience, OR HS Diploma and 5+ years' experience in electrical industry.
- Direct sales experience in the electrical industry strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated strong verbal/written and presentation skills to all levels in an organization
- Demonstrated strong problem solving, selling and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time
- Broad business acumen, ability to plan and execute on plans
- Ability to travel throughout the territory as needed - 50%
- Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
