Key Responsibilities - Content Creation: Write clear, accurate and engaging content across Releaf’s channels, including website pages and copy, blog articles, patient stories and PR pieces, optimised both to rank in search and to genuinely help readers. - Research & Briefs: Work from content briefs, researching each subject thoroughly so that what you produce is accurate, well-sourced, and trustworthy. - On-page Optimisation: Apply on-page SEO best practice as you write, including search intent, headings, metadata, internal linking and natural use of target keywords. - Tone of Voice: Write consistently in Releaf’s tone of voice, adapting your style to suit the channel while keeping the brand voice intact. - Accuracy & Trust: Produce content that reflects genuine expertise, authority and trust (E-E-A-T), citing reputable sources and reflecting current guidance. - Editorial Quality: Self-edit to a high standard for clarity and grammar, and act on feedback from the Head of Content. - Compliance: Make sure everything you write meets the regulatory and compliance requirements that apply to our sector, working closely with the team to stay within the rules. - Keeping Content Fresh: Update and improve existing content to maintain accuracy and search performance over time. - AI Search Visibility: Write in a way that helps Releaf get surfaced and cited across modern search and AI tools, with guidance from the team. - Collaboration: Work closely with the Head of Content and the wider team to get content planned, written and published. Qualifications - 2-3 years of experience writing SEO content, in-house, at an agency or freelance. - Native-level written English, with excellent grammar and a sharp eye for detail. - Experience writing in healthcare, lifestyle, wellness or another regulated, high-trust subject. - Comfortable managing your own workload and meeting deadlines. Requirements - Familiarity with SEO tools (such as Ahrefs, Semrush or Google Search Console) and a CMS (such as DATO, Sanity, etc). - Awareness of how AI search and LLMs are changing the way people find information. - An understanding of content compliance in a regulated sector. - A solid understanding of on-page SEO and search intent. Benefits - Flexible working. - Personalised training and development. - Private health insurance. - Employee Assistance Programmes. - Access to employee perks and Releaf staff patient benefits. How to Apply Our application process starts off with an informal remote meeting followed by a written test. At Releaf, we believe that diverse teams build better businesses. We're committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued, respected, and able to do their best work. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences — and we're happy to make reasonable adjustments throughout the recruitment process if you need them.
