Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP

• Provide virtual psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and medication management • Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications in accordance with Pennsylvania scope of practice and Sunflower protocols • Educate clients on medications, including risks, benefits, alternatives, and expected outcomes • Collaborate with therapists and care team members to support integrated treatment planning • Participate in clinical case discussions and team meetings • Maintain timely, accurate documentation within the electronic health record • Support quality, safety, and compliance standards across clinical care • Support additional clinical responsibilities as needed to ensure high-quality, coordinated care
Job Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Pennsylvania PMHNP license (multi-state a plus)
- Master of Science in Nursing with Psychiatric/Mental Health emphasis
- DEA registration (or willingness to obtain)
- 2+ years providing psychiatric care (experience with SUD strongly preferred)
- Comfort treating adults with complex, co-occurring conditions
- Clear communicator with strong clinical judgment
- Startup mindset: bias for action, low ego, high ownership
