Solar Maintenance Technician

• Promote a strong safety culture by participating in toolbox talks, behavioral observations, and adherence to all safety standards and best practices. • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on mechanical and electrical solar plant components. • Review system data and adjust settings on computerized/monitoring equipment at solar facilities. • Follow standard operating procedures and supervisor direction; stop and seek clarification anytime a task appears unsafe. • Adhere to all lockout/tagout procedures and never interfere with another worker’s lockout/tagout device. • Prepare detailed work order documentation—including photos—covering work performed, challenges encountered, parts used, suspected root causes, and site conditions. • Documentation is completed through daily reports and other CES project management tools. • Foster a stop-work culture where all team members feel empowered to halt work if they are uncomfortable with the task or sequence of operations. • Perform quality assurance inspections on newly onboarded solar sites and prepare reports identifying deviations from design drawings, electrical codes, or industry best practices. • Maintain excellent housekeeping standards at all times. • Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic understanding of electrical principles.
- Experience using hand tools and performing mechanical troubleshooting or repair.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; ability to learn new software quickly.
- Comfortable working at locations away from home for extended periods and adapting to different jobsite environments.
- 20/40 vision (corrected or uncorrected).
- Ability to work outdoors in hot and cold temperatures, including while wearing arc-flash PPE.
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders to access rooftop equipment.
- Ability to distinguish colors.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds overhead.
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation, including evenings and weekends, and respond to urgent work orders during on-call hours.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

• Lead clinical informatics support for VA facilities transitioning from VistA/CPRS to Oracle Health/Cerner, including planning, readiness, cutover, and post-transition support activities. • Supervise, coordinate, and mentor Health Informatics Specialists, Clinical Application Coordinators, and other clinical informatics SMEs. • Support CPRS Transition Plan activities, readiness tracking, field support requests, issue resolution, and clinical applications configuration guidance. • Provide expert VistA/CPRS support for Clinical Reminders, order menus, notifications, consults, notes, alerts, templates, reports, and related clinical applications. • Perform program and data analysis using VistA FileMan, VSSC, Pyramid Analytics, BISL reports, Excel, Power BI, or similar tools to inform operational recommendations. • Engage VAMC informatics staff, VA program offices, EHRM teams, OIT stakeholders, and Government leads through meetings, office hours, presentations, and direct support. • Develop and review SOPs, operational guides, training materials, scorecards, dashboards, request logs, FAQs, SharePoint resources, and other field-facing artifacts. • Identify risks to clinical operations, data migration, readiness, and user adoption; recommend practical mitigation strategies.
• Undertake translation tasks, including in-game text, UI, legally-relevant texts and supporting materials in line with client guidelines, First Party terminology, and established tone and style. • Carry out editorial tasks, including revision and review of translations to ensure linguistic accuracy, consistency, and natural flow. • Perform creative translation and localization tasks, including developing, maintaining, and updating glossaries, style guides, and character profiles within established ownership frameworks. • Meet project deadlines and productivity targets while maintaining high quality within a pre-determined localization pipeline. • Ensure consistency of tone, voice, and terminology across all content and game components. • Collaborate with fellow translators to review work for cohesion and logical content flow. • Identify and resolve localization issues, including issues raised during review, and bugs found during testing. • Use translation and project management tools (e.g., memoQ, JIRA, client-specific systems) to track progress and maintain workflow visibility. • Enter, monitor, and respond to localization queries in accordance with team workflows. • Assist in onboarding new translators, providing guidance on language-specific tools and project norms. • Support candidate test evaluations and contribute to test updates as needed. • Works closely with clients on day-to-day language matters, staying in constant communication to keep content aligned. • Respond flexibly to evolving project requirements and priorities.
