Online AP Instructor, Chemistry

• Teach AP students in a variety of formats, including short-term cram courses, ongoing 1-on-1 tutoring, and full-length classroom-style AP Course • Use your expertise and The Princeton Review’s curriculum to guide students through key content, test strategies, and skills aligned with College Board standards • Plan and deliver sessions that meet students where they are, whether they need to get ahead, keep up, or go deeper • Maintain professional, timely communication with students, families, and internal teams • Foster an inclusive, engaging, and supportive virtual classroom experience

Job Requirements

  • Experience teaching a College Board–approved AP course within the past 3 years
  • Deep knowledge of your AP subject and familiarity with exam structure and expectations
  • Bachelor’s degree required; a degree in your subject area or a related field is preferred.
  • Flexible and adaptive teaching style, with the ability to adjust instruction for different formats and student needs
  • Excellent communication and virtual classroom management skills
  • Evening and/or weekend availability during the school year
  • Prior experience with online instruction is a plus
  • Must pass a subject-specific qualifying exam
  • Must complete and pass our internal training course upon hire
  • Reliable computer, stable internet, and a quiet, distraction-free workspace

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain CRAC/CRAH units, chilled water/glycol systems, DX/split/RTU equipment, pumps, heat exchangers, VFDs, and associated controls. • Perform PMs, start-ups, and commissioning checks; verify operation against manufacturer specs and site SLAs for temperature/humidity and hot aisle/cold aisle containment. • Execute refrigeration procedures (recover, evacuate, weigh-in charge; superheat/subcooling); perform leak/pressure tests and document readings. • Basic electrical troubleshooting for HVAC (contactors/relays, motors, capacitors, control circuits; 120–480V, 1Ø/3Ø) in compliance with code and site rules. • Work with BMS/EMS to monitor trends, alarms, and setpoints; coordinate with facility ops during maintenance windows, change controls, and LOTO. • Use mobile work order software to document diagnoses, parts, labor, photos, and recommendations in real time; communicate status to dispatch/PM and customer. • Travel extensively to customer sites nationwide (often 70–100%), including overnight stays and occasional emergency travel as needed. • Support on-call rotations and after-hours/emergency response as scheduled. • Follow safety procedures (LOTO, arc-flash awareness NFPA 70E, fall protection, confined space, rooftop safety); maintain clean, organized job sites and vehicles. • Mentor junior technicians and interface professionally with customers and vendors.
