Job Description
Clinical Supervisor – 2nd Shift
Pyramid Healthcare
• Responsible for facilitating and supervision of all clinical services for program as outlined by facility standards and in accordance with clinical philosophy of program. • Assists the counselors in the development of the treatment plans and maintenance of notes. • Facilitates treatment team meetings and participates in case consults. • Provides individual and group supervision to the counselors and other staff as assigned. • Maintains caseload as needed. • Assists the facility leadership in developing new programs for the facility. • Listens to clients concerning all areas of treatment. • Maintains safe, orderly and therapeutic environment for clients including crisis intervention. • Ensures clinical programming occurs daily as scheduled. • Completion of all required trainings as designated by the company and accreditation/licensing entities. • Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- ASAM aligned substance programs must meet one of the below requirements:
- Master’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling with a Master’s level licensure: Marriage and family therapy, social work, professional counseling or certification by a state wide certification board (CAADC) and 2 years of clinical experience in a health and human services agency which includes 1 year of working directly with the chemically dependent.
- Master’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling and are working towards a Master’s level licensure (Marriage and family therapy, social work, professional counseling), or certification by a state wide certification board (CAADC), and 2 years of clinical experience in a health and human services agency which includes 1 year of working directly with the chemically dependent.
- Bachelors Level with a CADC or are working towards a CADC with a minimum of one year of qualifying clinical experience, and 3 years of clinical experience in a health and human services agency which includes 1 year of working directly with the chemically dependent.
- Associates Degree with a CAAC and 4 years of clinical experience in a health and human services agency which includes 1 year of working directly with the chemically dependent.
- Full certification as an addictions counselor by a statewide certification body and 3 years of clinical experience in a health or human service agency which includes 1 year of working directly with the chemically dependent person. The individual shall also complete a Department approved core curriculum training prior to hire which includes a component on clinical supervision skills.
