Role Description As a Learning and Development Specialist, you are responsible for delivering and developing courses and materials to support the learning needs of Talkiatry’s diverse workforce. In this role you will have the unique opportunity to partner across the organization to develop and deliver courses that are engaging and effective. Your work will help us build and enact our learning offerings that help improve the efficiency of the organization and care delivery. Your desired result is to ensure colleagues have the knowledge and tools to succeed, realize their potential and the organization has the capabilities to support its rapid growth. - Facilitate ongoing new clinician orientation sessions for new Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners, and Therapists joining Talkiatry’s growing team of clinicians. - Develop content for live, facilitator-led educational experiences and eLearning modules for corporate and clinical populations. - Assist with the implementation of corporate and clinical cohort experiences, focused on leadership development and equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging. - Collaborate across Talkiatry’s corporate and clinical populations to develop additional learning and developmental materials as needed. - Contribute to L&D team development and strategy. Qualifications - Two years experience delivering and developing courses for adult learners in a professional setting. - Proficiency in Microsoft applications and virtual collaboration tools. - Experience using and managing content within a learning management system (LMS). - Experience working with instructional design software to create dynamic learning experiences. - Familiarity with an electronic health record is a plus, but not required. - Exceptional customer service skills. You exude positivity, a high level of organizational knowledge and problem-solving skills. - Bachelor's Degree required. Requirements - Engaging teacher.
