• Manage the end-to-end daily operational workflow of the procurement team, placing all Purchase Orders accurately and on time. • Maintain and update the procurement team’s contract tracker, ensuring cross-functional data inputs are accurate, current, and organized for leadership visibility. • Audit, update, and maintain inventory records to eliminate discrepancies, optimize stock levels, and ensure precise data integrity. • Manage daily supplier communications, assisting with the troubleshooting of delivery adjustments and tracking lead-time metrics to prevent supply disruptions. • Learn and support the day-to-day coordination of the sugar and sweetener category, monitoring baseline market data to help ensure supply continuity. • Work closely with the Senior Manager, Procurement - Ingredients, to manage inventory tracking for specialized ingredient lines. • Build out structured rhythms and standardized processes for daily operations to eliminate administrative bottlenecks as the team scales. • Maintain clear, highly professional communication with the supplier network to hold vendors accountable to lead times and contractual commitments.
Job Requirements
- Foundational background in procurement or supply chain operations, with practical experience managing supplier inventories, tracking vendor lead times, or supporting logistics coordination.
- Proficiency in Excel (including experience with VLookups, Pivot Tables), with the ability to maintain data integrity in inventory records and contract tracking databases.
- Prior experience interfacing with buyers and supporting supply chain escalations when they arise.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to hold suppliers accountable while maintaining a collaborative working relationship.
- Demonstrated tolerance for ambiguity, with the ability to pivot quickly, stay calm under pressure, and problem-solve when supply chain disruptions occur.
- A meticulous approach to data entry and record-keeping, ensuring contract trackers and inventory figures are highly accurate.
- Familiarity with navigating Material Requirements Planning (MRP) files or ERP system data outputs is a plus.
- Experience managing or assisting with a raw material or agricultural commodity category is a plus.
