Role Description We're looking for a Procurement Partner to help strengthen and mature Intersect's procurement, supplier management and commercial operations capabilities. Reporting to the Head of Operations, this is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working across procurement, contracts, suppliers, governance, and operational delivery. You'll partner closely with Finance, People, Delivery, Product, and Leadership teams to ensure Intersect can engage suppliers effectively, manage commercial relationships responsibly, and maintain strong operational governance as we continue to scale. This role sits at the centre of a fast-moving and highly visible operational environment supporting decentralized governance infrastructure, treasury-backed initiatives, ecosystem partnerships, and a globally distributed organisation. This role may particularly suit someone who: - Enjoys building practical procurement processes and supplier relationships - Balances commercial thinking with governance and attention to detail - Thrives in growing organisations where processes continue to evolve - Enjoys working across multiple teams and priorities - Is interested in technology, digital assets, blockchain, or emerging governance models As Procurement Partner, you will work on: - Procurement & Supplier Management - Lead procurement activities across software, professional services, contractors, consultants, and operational suppliers - Manage supplier sourcing, onboarding, due diligence, and performance processes - Support commercial negotiations and help ensure value-for-money outcomes - Establish and maintain procurement standards, governance pathways, and documentation - Build and maintain strong supplier relationships across a global supplier base - Support budget owners in making informed procurement decisions - Contract & Commercial Operations - Coordinate the lifecycle management of contracts, renewals, amendments, and commercial agreements - Maintain contract records, procurement documentation, and commercial controls - Support teams in navigating commercial and contractual considerations - Work with external legal advisors where specialist legal support is required - Help improve contract administration processes and governance - Risk, Governance & Compliance - Support procurement governance, audits, and compliance activities - Identify and manage supplier, procurement, and contractual risks - Ensure contractual obligations and key commercial commitments are appropriately tracked - Contribute to improving organisational maturity around procurement and commercial operations - Support the development and maintenance of policies, controls, and operational standards - Operational Enablement - Improve procurement workflows, tools, and documentation - Provide practical guidance that helps teams move efficiently while maintaining appropriate governance - Build trusted relationships across a remote-first, globally distributed organisation - Support leadership with procurement insights and commercial recommendations Qualifications - Strong experience in procurement, supplier management, purchasing, commercial operations, vendor management, or contract management roles - Experience managing procurement processes and supplier relationships end-to-end - Experience supporting commercial negotiations and contract administration - Familiarity with procurement governance and compliance processes - Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills - The ability to balance pragmatism, governance, and delivery needs - Experience working within startups, scaleups, technology organisations, nonprofits, or remote-first environments is highly desirable Additional Strengths - Experience supporting international or globally distributed organisations - Exposure to blockchain, Web3, DAOs, digital assets, or decentralized governance models - Experience working across multiple jurisdictions and supplier markets Compensation & Benefits - This is a remote-first position, with occasional travel required. - There is also the option to collaborate in person from our London workspace (Tower Hill) if you are UK-based. - As a maturing startup, we continue to evolve our benefits offering to reflect our community-first values and global workforce.
