Content Marketing Manager
Canals
• Build and own Canal's content strategy across blogs, email, social, video, and partner channels • Develop a consistent editorial calendar aligned with product launches, GTM campaigns, events, and SEO goals • Identify and prioritize opportunities for organic growth and category presence • Maintain a strong brand voice across all content formats • Analyze performance metrics to refine strategy and scale what works • Produce high-value content: blog posts, guides, playbooks, customer stories, landing pages, social content, and simple video scripts • Repurpose and atomize content across channels to maximize visibility • Manage social media channels (LinkedIn primary) to grow our brand, community, and engagement • Work with designers, agencies, and freelancers as needed • Create distribution systems (organic social, newsletters, SEO, earned placements) • Collaborate with GTM to craft content that supports sales motions, including case studies and product storytelling • Experiment with new formats (short video, carousel posts, templates, etc.) to increase reach
Job Requirements
- Typically, 4–7 years of content marketing experience in B2B SaaS or a tech startup
- Proven track record owning both content strategy and content execution
- Exceptional writing ability with a strong editorial voice and ability to simplify complex concepts
- Strong understanding of organic distribution across LinkedIn, newsletters, blogs, and communities
- Ability to turn product insights and GTM knowledge into compelling narratives
- Familiarity with SEO best practices (not just keyword stuffing)
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment
