Physician – Virtual Primary Care, Mid-Shift
Curai Health
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered, virtual-first primary care to patients across the United States • Conduct comprehensive virtual assessments, diagnoses, and evidence-based treatment planning for patients across various ages and backgrounds • Manage and coordinate care for chronic conditions • Provide preventive care, wellness counseling, and health education to promote holistic well-being • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab results • Prescribe medications in accordance with state and federal regulations • Handle referrals and prior authorizations • Complete administrative tasks including documenting tasks and communications in the electronic medical record (EMR) • Complete compliance, CME, and licensing tasks in a timely manner • Maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge and processes • Participate in clinical quality and process improvement initiatives • Meet or exceed established performance standards related to patient satisfaction, encounter documentation, response time, clinical quality metrics, and productivity benchmarks • Serve as a collaborating physician for assigned Nurse Practitioners • Maintain compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality standards • Take on other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- An MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- A current, unrestricted license to practice medicine with active board certification in Family Medicine
- At least 5 years of clinical practice experience post-residency; telehealth experience strongly preferred
- Active medical licenses in at least one of the following states: CA, TX, or FL, plus 5 additional state licenses
- Eligibility for expedited licensure through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) in 5 additional states is strongly preferred
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed
- Availability to work weekends and assigned holidays as part of your regular schedule
- A solid understanding of regulatory and documentation requirements related to physician collaboration and supervision of Advanced Practice Providers
- The ability to work independently while managing a high volume of patient interactions through video and chat
- Comfort navigating telehealth platforms and EMR systems, with adaptability to evolving technology including AI-driven tools and digital platforms
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage your time effectively in a remote work environment; reliable high-speed internet access is required
- Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and patient engagement skills
