Crew Lead Electrician
Base Power Company
• Managing the installation of home backup batteries • Troubleshooting and diagnosing field failures • Inspection failure repairs • Onboarding and facilitating training of new installer crews and/or subcontractors • Meeting with inspectors and AHJs (Authority Having Jurisdictions) for inspections and other initiatives • Become a subject matter expert in Base hardware, general electrical principles, and applicable NEC Codes • Respond to on-call duties for emergent electrical issues during nights and weekends on a scheduled, rotational basis
Job Requirements
- Active Electrician license via a written examination in Northern Illinois
- Experience with installation or maintenance battery back up systems, EV chargers, PV systems, or whole home generators preferred
- Availability to onboard, train, and observe battery system installation near Base’s manufacturing & operations HQ in Austin, Texas. We anticipate this in person onboarding to take around 30 days

• Act as a localisation subject matter expert during the pre-sales cycle, providing guidance on e-learning content workflows, tools, and formats. • Scope and plan multimedia localisation projects for e-learning content across multiple languages, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and scalability. • Prepare source e-learning files (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Rise, Captivate) for localisation, including extraction of translatable content, audio, and visual assets. • Reintegrate translated and localised materials, ensuring fully functional, linguistically accurate final e-learning modules. • Support customer onboarding and implementation, offering workflow guidance for e-learning localisation. • Manage localisation of video, voiceover, subtitling, and interactive learning assets in line with project requirements. • Provide best practices for managing localisation-ready content and advise on automation opportunities in e-learning localisation workflows. • Operate and maintain localisation tools and platforms, supporting both AI-driven and human-led localisation processes. • Review localised e-learning content, including SCORM packages, for quality, technical accuracy, and adherence to brand and platform standards. • Perform final QA checks ("final eyes") and prepare final files for delivery to clients or internal stakeholders. • Act as the go-to expert on e-learning localisation workflows and tools across the organisation. • Meet SLAs and KPIs for engineering and localisation delivery.
