Job Description

Product Lead

talentsconnect AG

• As Product Lead (m/f/d), you take responsibility for one of our core products — the JobShop — from discovery through to delivery. • You work closely with clients and our cross-functional team of Engineering, Design, and GTM, and act as a sparring partner for the other Product Managers. • You ensure the team delivers reliably: you set priorities, keep the most important initiatives moving, remove blockers, and make delivery predictable for everyone — instead of work getting stuck in day-to-day operations. • You own the JobShop end-to-end: discovery, prioritization, and the product roadmap. • You conduct discovery and difficult conversations directly with our (Enterprise) clients, translate their reality into product decisions, and then represent the product internally. • You are a sparring partner for other PMs: you provide orientation, sharpen decisions, and raise the product craft across the team. • You use AI as a lever in your own work — in discovery, specs, prototyping, and analysis — to increase speed and quality.

Job Requirements

  • Product experience — Several years as a Product Lead or (Senior) Product Manager in B2B SaaS or a similar sector, ideally in a scale-up or startup where you built structure yourself rather than optimizing an already finished setup.
  • Generalist rather than specialist — You confidently get into any domain, don’t need a ready-made playbook, and keep an overview amid complexity and friction — you bring order without killing momentum.
  • Stakeholder range — You have led discovery and difficult conversations directly with clients and represented product decisions to management or executives — you are comfortable in both arenas.
  • Industry familiarity — An HR Tech or recruiting background is a strong plus, or you can quickly immerse yourself in a specific target group and their reality.
  • AI-first mindset — AI is a daily working tool for you, not a buzzword. You use it naturally to work faster and better.
  • Language — You communicate with negotiation-level fluency in German (C2) and are also comfortable expressing yourself in English in a work context.

Benefits

  • Real ownership from day one: not a polished product setup to maintain — you own a revenue-generating product and your input matters immediately.
  • Remote-first: work anywhere within Germany where you’re most productive — Cologne is an option, not a requirement.
  • AI-first culture: work with state-of-the-art AI tools such as Claude and help shape what HR work looks like in the future.
  • Deutschlandticket
  • Academy4Members — our internal learning platform
  • Company pension plan (30% employer contribution)
  • Access to a strong network of decision-makers
  • We value diversity and equal opportunity — regardless of origin, gender, age, religion, sexual identity, or other personal characteristics.
