Job Description

Designer

Latham Pool Products

• The Designer is responsible for completing Level A and Level B drawings/designs in one design category. • This may include creating approval drawings and workable files for production as well creating blueprint layouts for new pools. • Create working and presentation drawings for dealer/production purposes. • Use custom Latham Panel Software built within AutoCAD software. • Ensure criteria is met for each drawing/design based on customer needs and preferences. • Correct product types used on drawing. • Upload files to the Pool Kit Configurator for entry (panel specific). • Responsible for accessing electronic Request Center Design queue, identify and assign appropriate orders and complete assignment. • Post upload of completed design package, submit to Quality Review. • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Post-secondary diploma or university degree in a related field preferred
  • Experience in design or a related field; previous experience in swimming pool industry an asset
  • Proficient in current AutoCAD/CAD software
  • Strong math, data-entry, customer service, interpersonal, time management, and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
