Apparel Designer – Athleisure, Outerwear
Comfrt
• translate trend, cultural, competitive, and fabric insights into elevated, commercially successful product • design across athleisure and outerwear categories with strong understanding of silhouette, proportion, comfort, functionality, and performance • research emerging trends, fabrics, trims, washes, and white space opportunities relevant to the Comfrt customer • create detailed tech packs, CADs, BOMs, and construction callouts for accurate execution • partner closely with Fabric and Product Development and overseas vendors throughout development, fittings, proto reviews, and production • participate in fittings and provide direction on fit, comfort, construction, and garment functionality • develop seasonal color palettes and support cohesive assortment building across categories • create and manage visual line plans to support merchandising strategy and product flow • design within cost targets while maintaining elevated product integrity • manage multiple projects simultaneously in a high SKU count, fast-paced environment • collaborate cross-functionally with Merchandising, Marketing, Creative, Product Development, and Production teams to bring product to market quickly and successfully
Job Requirements
- 7+ years in apparel design with a portfolio showing exceptional taste and commercial success
- athleisure and/or outerwear design experience preferred
- proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and ideally 3D design tools
- highly knowledgeable in textiles, garment construction, fit, and performance fabrics
- experience managing development calendars, vendor communication and navigating production realities
- strong understanding of garment costing and timelines

• Creation of digital corporate graphic artworks and vectorization for print; • Creation of digital social graphics for holidays and events; • Development of mockups as required; • Creation and layout of e-books; • Design of corporate commercial presentation layouts as needed; • Video editing (a plus: experience with video production and AI-assisted content creation).
