Manager, Retail Fulfillment – Retail DC

• Own day to day operations of the Retail DC, holding the 3PL accountable to inbound, outbound, UPH, and quality standards. • Lead the operational cadence with the 3PL (daily huddles, WBR, MBR, QBR) and drive action against performance gaps. • Coordinate inbound inventory shipments from vendors and the ecomm DC into the Retail DC, ensuring on-time receipt and clean put-away. • Own outbound store shipment scheduling, routing, and freight execution to meet store replenishment and launch timelines. • Own inventory accuracy at the Retail DC, including cycle counts, full physical inventories, and variance investigation. • Serve as the HQ point of contact for stores on Retail DC shipments, timing, accuracy, and issue resolution. • Analyze Retail DC throughput, accuracy, on-time store delivery, and freight cost to identify trends and opportunities. • Lead, coach, and develop direct reports, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 to 7+ years of progressive experience in retail distribution, DC operations, 3PL management, or retail supply chain.
- Proven track record leading 3PL partners against UPH, accuracy, and on-time performance at scale.
- Strong working knowledge of WMS/OMS systems, inbound/outbound processes, cycle counts, and inventory controls.
- Experience coordinating inventory shipments across multi-node networks (vendors → DC → stores, and transfers between nodes).
- Experience with freight / LTL execution to stores, carrier management, and store-delivery SLAs.
- Advanced proficiency with Excel/Sheets; comfort with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI) and retail inventory reporting.
- Experience in a high growth retail or DTC plus retail environment; Shopify / Shopify POS experience a plus.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills with a track record of leading through partners.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to influence both DC and HQ stakeholders.
