Role Description We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Client-facing mobile team, building the backend systems behind our guest mobile app, the companion guests rely on throughout their stay. We take guest experience seriously, and the app is at the heart of making every stay feel effortless, from booking details and apartment access to support, maintenance, and personalized services. You’ll build scalable backend services in Kotlin and Node.js, design APIs that power real-time mobile interactions, and help shape a platform used daily by thousands of guests. We actively leverage AI in both what we build and how we work, using modern AI-assisted tools to move fast, stay curious, and deliver an experience guests genuinely enjoy using. Qualifications - 3+ years of Industry experience in software development - Strong CS background - Strong skills in either Kotlin or Node.js - Strong skills in backend development (full-stack is preferable) - Strong background in relational databases and SQL - Experience in designing REST and GraphQL APIs - Testing mindset and an eye for clean code - Really comfortable with Git - Excellent communication in English - BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related subject Requirements - Work on services supporting our customer-facing web and mobile apps - Work mostly on the backend but with a full-stack mindset - Use AI tooling for most, if not all, of your tasks - Write your unit tests - Automate stuff. • Review and evaluate housing requests to identify client requirements including location, budget, and housing specifications • Perform research within assigned markets to identify potential housing opportunities • Source available housing through property management companies, apartment communities, real estate agents, private landlords, and online platforms • Think creatively to identify housing solutions when inventory is limited or difficult to source • Present qualified housing options with pricing and property details to internal teams and clients • Gather and document unit, building, and community details necessary for evaluating housing options • Build and maintain positive relationships with landlords, property managers, and housing partners • Negotiate favorable terms and pricing with housing providers when applicable • Maintain accurate records by entering property and client information into internal systems • Add newly sourced properties to the company database and introduce potential partners to Blueground’s partnership program • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure sourced housing meets company quality standards and operational requirements • Develop knowledge of furniture rental and housing setup costs within assigned markets

• Assist in the creation of the sales pipeline and close new reservations through timely submission of housing options to 3rd party platforms • Communicate value propositions to clients in a swift, organized, and timely manner • Cultivate and build strong business relationships with key corporate stakeholders • Build and strengthen relationships with existing enterprise clients; Follow up with clients regularly to ensure needs are being met and identify opportunities. • Forecast and track key account metrics; Compile and analyze data to identify trends

• Lead Screening & Qualification: Review inbound partner applications and cold outreach replies, assess portfolio size, market relevance, and operational fit, and prioritize high value opportunities. • Full Cycle Sales Ownership: Run discovery calls, understand partner portfolios and operating models, clearly communicate Blueground’s value proposition, and drive deals to close. • Pipeline Management: Own and manage a defined pipeline segment from first contact to signed agreement, ensuring timely follow ups and strong conversion rates. • Partner Segmentation: Own small to mid tier portfolios, while escalating larger strategic opportunities when needed. • CRM & Process Discipline: Maintain accurate CRM tracking and organized inbox management to ensure full pipeline visibility. Monitor outreach quality, lead routing, and sequencing hygiene to support consistent email performance and deliverability. • Cross Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with onboarding and growth teams to ensure seamless activation of signed partners, while driving timely engagement across partner accounts to maximize partner experience and conversion.
