Creative Asset Manager

• Manage all visual assets—from raw files to final edits—within our Google Drive (and eventually DAM system) • Manage incoming asset deliveries from external photographers, retouchers, and production vendors — ensuring files are received, reviewed, and filed accurately and on time • Maintain consistent labeling and version control for all assets • Act as the go-to person for internal asset requests—delivering assets to marketing, product, or other teams as needed • Collaborate with the product team on various creative needs—whether flat-lays or other product-related imagery—ensuring prompt organization • Build and maintain department and product-specific folders tailored to each team’s needs • Ensure that only the latest, approved, and on-brand assets are accessible, preventing the use of outdated materials • Lead the transition to a DAM system (when needed) and ensure asset hygiene long-term • Establish and enforce a consistent asset naming convention across all shoots, campaigns, and product lines • Own and maintain an asset request intake process (via Asana or equivalent) so internal teams can submit, track, and receive asset requests with clear turnaround expectations • Partner with the production and creative teams to track shoot schedules and anticipate asset intake volume ahead of deadlines • Audit the existing Google Drive regularly to identify and archive outdated, duplicate, or off-brand assets
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a creative operations, asset management, or production coordination role — preferably at a DTC or e-commerce brand
- Impeccable organizational skills, with a passion for file structure
- Familiarity with specific DAM platforms such as Bynder, Brandfolder, or Canto
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally—partnering with marketing, creative, and product teams
- Experience with project management tools such as Asana or Notion for managing asset request workflows
- Experience with Google Drive and DAM platforms
- Ability to handle high asset volume across multiple concurrent shoots and campaigns without sacrificing accuracy or organization.
