• Develops a treatment alliance with patients that is mutual, collaborative, and individualized, meeting changing clinical needs throughout treatment • Facilitates addiction treatment groups in the IOP level of care • Prepares and presents addiction/recovery education presentations to all patients • Engages in case management and individual sessions, including assessments, collaborative treatment goals, discharge planning, partnership with referral sources and/or other providers • Promotes the organizations image in a positive and professional manner • Is expected to provide direct care up to 55% of weekly work hours depending on program and position • Works with treatment team to meet the needs of our patients • Coordinates care for all appropriate support services, including referral sources, family members, and other support providers • Responsible for maintaining timely and well written documentation that meets state and CARF standards • Demonstrates commitment to excellent patient care, which is measured through clinical outcomes, such as patient retention, attendance, successful program completion, transitioning from IOP to OP, treatment goal attainment, etc • Responsible for obtaining signatures from licensed therapist/supervisor for documents requiring a second signature when applicable • Provide evaluations for substance use disorders using DSM-V and ASAM level of care criteria • Carries the on call phone for one week, several times through the year – supporting the needs of any patients in crisis outside of our business hours when applicable • Has experience with Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and trauma informed care approaches • Embodies the spirit of a teacher, continually demonstrating positive energy that promotes addiction recovery education and learning, both in and out of group/individual sessions • Attends and is prepared for professional meetings, including treatment team • Other duties as assigned

Role Description At OpenUp we are focusing on preventive care, which means that we don't do diagnosis, but we are there for day-to-day struggles. OpenUp is open 6 days a week for planned video consults and spontaneous consults via video. We guarantee short term availability and accessibility. - Provide preventive consultations in the field of lifestyle. - Help clients access a healthy lifestyle and address lifestyle-related complaints. - Conduct consultations in 25-minute sessions, aiming for specific goals. - Engage in 3 to 5 sessions on average with clients for specific requests. - Contribute to inspiring content, such as online programs, group sessions, articles, or masterclasses. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy. - Minimum of 4 years’ experience providing 1:1 consultations after obtaining your Bachelor's degree. - Fluent in German and English. - Knowledge of interventions based on evidence-based health frameworks. - Experience in lifestyle coaching. - Team player, resilient, and possesses a growth mindset. - Flexible, multi-tasker, and enjoys a variety of tasks. - Concise, solution-oriented, and coaching-focused. - Strong relationship-building skills with clients and colleagues. - Ability to initiate conversations and seek connections. - Solution-focused with quick advice generation for clients. - Practices what you preach in terms of lifestyle and well-being. - Capable of working independently while also being a team player. Requirements - Willingness to work 4 hours per week on a freelance contract. - Availability to work from home or in the Amsterdam office during office hours (9.00 - 21.00 CET). - Engagement in personal development and education opportunities. - Participation in 2 training day parts per year facilitated by OpenUp.
