HVAC Install Technician
Associated Builders and Contractors of Connecticut
• Install, calibrate, and commission heating and cooling systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation units. • Connect electrical wiring, control panels, and piping to ensure proper system functionality. • Collaborate with other construction professionals to integrate HVAC systems into new or existing buildings. • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency of HVAC systems. • Inspect, clean, and replace air filters, coils, and other system components as needed. • Test and troubleshoot system controls, thermostats, and sensors.
Job Requirements
- Past experience as an HVAC service technician or comparable education
- Valid Drivers License
- EPA Certification
- Licensed and OSHA Certified
- Experience with operation and maintenance of chillers, heat pumps, air handlers, and geothermal systems
- Ability to climb ladders, crawl, and lift 40 pounds
