VP Business Development

• Drive Revenue Growth • Own a revenue target and consistently win new business for the organization • Demonstrate deep expertise across paid media strategy, activation, and performance outcomes • Position solutions that align marketing investment with measurable business impact • Lead the Full Sales Cycle • Independently lead owned opportunities through discovery, audit, proposal, negotiation, contract review, and onboarding • Support and deliver paid media audits and strategic proposals • Build persuasive, insight-driven business cases tailored to client objectives • Consultative Discovery & Solution Design • Diagnose the underlying client/prospect business challenges early in discovery • Prioritize client needs and translate them into structured, strategic solutions • Ask intelligent, layered questions that guide conversations and uncover growth opportunities • Craft and deliver cohesive, compelling narratives that connect challenges → strategy → outcomes → close • Pipeline Generation & Management • Generate a minimum of 20% of your pipeline through proactive prospecting efforts • Re-engage lost prospects and dormant clients • Drive cold outreach with confidence, credibility, and relevance • Sales Excellence & Discipline • Adhere to established sales processes and methodologies • Maintain rigorous Salesforce hygiene to support forecasting accuracy and organizational decision-making • Partner cross-functionally to ensure smooth transitions from sale → onboarding → delivery • You expertly identify customer needs and tailor solutions to solve them within negotiations, protecting margin and resources
Job Requirements
- 15+ years of industry experience in sales and/or account management
- Strong experience in retail media and/or eCommerce environments
- Proven success managing complex B2B sales cycles
- Strategic & Analytical Thinking
- Ability to interpret market dynamics, retail trends, and performance data
- Strong fluency in retail media KPIs and measurement frameworks
- Skilled at translating analytics into compelling commercial narratives
- Sales & Pipeline Leadership
- Experience building and managing a robust pipeline from prospecting → close
- Accurate revenue forecasting and CRM discipline
- Confidence in navigating negotiations and complex deal structures
- Communication & Storytelling
- Exceptional presentation and storytelling abilities
- Strong writing skills for proposals and strategic recommendations
- Ability to tailor messaging to executive and cross-functional stakeholders.
