o9 Solutions, Inc.
• Present the o9 platform through story-telling and positioning of o9 Solutions as a trusted business partner that will elevate the business’ current practices and create efficiencies in complex use-cases • Participate in client discovery sessions to better understand client challenges, bottlenecks and value leakage analysis to tailor demo to complex and targeted scenarios • Partner with the industry solution and account executive team to better understand and talk to the industry and target company challenges inside-out • Oversee the creation and execution of specific demonstrations and proof of concepts • Exercise creativity and business acumen in designing practical solutions to meet client needs • Work with global sales and manage the RFP creation/discovery/platform demonstration building process in light of the strategic priorities • Utilize industry demos as a starting point and architect desired incremental workflows in the o9 platform, as per the specific customer and industry needs • Use and modify existing business impact and profitability models to construct ROI message in proposals • Ensure a strong technical fit in the SaaS and technical offerings to the client’s analytical needs • Document and transition deal knowledge to help ensure a successful transition to the implementation team for all winning proposals
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred
- 8-10+ years of experience in a presales/solutions consultant capacity
- Proven experience in supply chain planning process & enterprise planning applications is a must
- Excellent domain knowledge combined with excellent story-telling skills
- Strong listening abilities with the ability to read through the lines and understand the true concerns of prospects
- Proactive and innovative with experience in preparing demos, presentations, and tailored responses to follow-up questions
- Ability to demonstrate thought leadership and develop credibility with prospects as an expert in the area of planning
- Strong ability to lead by example and demonstrate proficiency in both product and domain
- Customer empathy and business acumen with excellent communication skills
- Expertise in supply planning and optimization is preferred
- Expertise in R/Python preferred
- Executive presence and ability to communicate well and make an impact with senior executives and decision-makers
