Job Description

Junior/Mid Video Editor

NeoWork

• Edit portrait-format (9:16) video ads for Meta, TikTok, AppLovin, Moloco, and Unity under the direction of the Senior Video Editor • Execute briefs end-to-end: cut, caption, sound design, and export to channel spec at pace • Produce hook variations and rapid iterations on a weekly cycle — this is a volume-first, performance-creative workflow • Integrate AI tools into the editing pipeline for voiceover, timing, and asset generation (ElevenLabs and similar) • Maintain clean project files and exports across shared asset libraries • Receive feedback openly and apply it fast — the senior editor will develop this person; coachability is part of the role

Job Requirements

  • 2–5 years editing social-first video. Traditional long-form, corporate, or TVC backgrounds do not transfer well to this role
  • Portfolio or reel demonstrating portrait-format (9:16) content for Meta and/or TikTok — paid social ads preferred over organic content
  • Solid Premiere Pro fundamentals: cutting rhythm, captions, sound mix, basic motion
  • Familiarity with AI tools in a video workflow (ElevenLabs, Runway, CapCut AI features, or similar)
  • Social-native instincts: understands hooks, attention retention, and what makes short-form ads perform
  • Good written English for async collaboration with the UK team.

Benefits

  • We offer health insurance for contractors
  • Holiday Extra Pay
  • The work hours generally align with standard business hours in the US, with some potential flexibility depending on the client's needs.
  • We prioritize the mental health of our team members and offer mental health days to support their well-being.
  • In addition to the base salary, performance-based incentives are provided.
  • There is an annual review and appraisal process in place.
  • There are ample opportunities for professional growth and advancement within the company.
