Title: Coordinator, Engagement Programs Location: Champaign Illinois US Department: 0.25 Job Description: Job Type: Full-time UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS FOUNDATIONhas an immediate opening for anCoordinator, Engagement Programs The University of Illinois Foundation (Foundation) is the official fundraising and private gift-receiving organization of the University of Illinois (University). It works closely with alumni and friends, faculty and staff, corporations and foundations, as well as campus development professionals to create fundraising programs and opportunities that benefit the University. Coordinates the planning and execution of Engagement Programs on behalf of Donor Services. Coordinates, plans, and executes annual giving services for units under the direction of the Annual Giving and Engagement Services manager. The Engagement Program coordinator will assist with the supervision of program execution at the UIF Engagement Center, including providing direct supervision of student interns and student specialists working at the UIF Engagement Center. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Assists with the management of the UIF Engagement Center located in Urbana, Illinois, including the supervision of a student interns and Student Engagement Specialist (SES), providing direct supervision and training with Engagement Center platforms. 2. Works closely with UIF Advancement Services staff in the communication and scheduling of outreach. Administers the digital engagement platform, GiveCampus GO - Students in support of Annual Giving Services at UIF; responsible for working with the Manager of Annual Giving and Engagement services and the Annual Giving Directors to complete planning and coordination of efforts; suggests best practices for executing plans; builds and tests the platform; offers all engagement program partners excellent customer service to meet their needs in a timely manner. 3. Administers additional UIF digital platforms on behalf of Donor Services, including but not limited to UIF’s constituent management database (TED) and video email platforms used to enhance donor stewardship. 4. May engage with constituents via phone calls, text messages, email, or mail. Always offers all constituents excellent customer service. 5. Tracks daily, weekly, semesterly, and annual performance reports out of the software system and shares updates with units as needed. Assists with reconciling credit card transactions, using GiveCampus, Blackbaud CRM, and UIF credit card services. Contact donors with any concerns or issues regarding credit card transactions or pledges. 6. Creates documentation to support the use of Donor Services platforms that they coordinate. Crosstrain with other departmental coordinators to provide uninterrupted service to all campus partners. 7. Serves as liaison between the UIF Engagement Center and other Foundation resources, including information technology, human resources, and facilities departments. 8. Grows in industry knowledge related to donor digital engagement. Researches, proposes, documents, and implements opportunities for operational efficiencies to increase the department’s effectiveness and productivity. Support the Annual Giving Services manager and the Donor Services teams by bringing new and current topics to light. 9. Participates in ongoing training, workshops, and team meetings. Maintains compliance for HR, time reporting, and budgeting through training and proper follow-through. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: · Bachelor’s degree required. · The ability to develop productive and sustained relationships with diverse groups and individuals is necessary. · Proven working knowledge of Microsoft Office products · Demonstrated excellent organizational and communication skills · High attention to detail PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: · Experience in an engagement center or call center or student management · Familiarity with University of Illinois structure and advancement activities · Familiarity with and/or willingness to learn new applications and databases The starting salary range for this position is projected to be $48,000 - $53,000 per year.
