We take pride in providing comprehensive, personalized care in warm and welcoming environment, prioritizing patient comfort and advanced treatments for optimal oral health. Position Overview: This position is perfect for someone with a passion for providing outstanding customer service, a willingness to learn, and desired to get started in the dental field. environment. The person will be a support person to all the staff members and patients in his/her office. They will answer phones, handle patient inquiries, make appointments, and assist with the completion of the patient’s treatment plans through acceptable financial arrangements while being flexible in handling requests and projects assigned by other staff and/or the Office Manager. What we offer: - Pay: min$23-max$25 per hour - Part-time: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8am-5pm - Team-oriented work environment with access to modern dental technology Responsibilities - Customer Service; acknowledge, smile and greet patients upon arrival/dismissal - Respond to patient questions and or concerns according to policies - Answering Telephones - Scheduling Appointments - Maintaining Appointment Book - Confirming Appointments - Follow up on no shows/cancellation of Appointments - Register Patients on sign in sheet - Post charges and payments to patient accounts - Checking voicemail on a daily basis - Maintain a clean and friendly waiting area for patients Qualifications - 1 year experience working in a dental, medical, or other health-care office - Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO), is a plus - Experience answering telephone - Must have exceptional customer service skills Legal Disclaimer: We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable. Unscheduled patients at point of service within the established time frames. - Prior to the end of shift conducts self-audit of all registration to insure that information is accurate and complete maintaining less than 5% error ratio. Assisting to maintain the Patient Access monthly audit goal of 100%. Audit includes opt out information correct insurance plans authorization ID numbers Patient Types Duplicate Medical Record Numbers ACHA and MSP information. - Assist patient in understanding his/her insurance benefits and explains hospital financial and deposit policies including up front collections and follows established guidelines for up-front collections and collects and disburses revenue ensuring at all times 100% accuracy of all ledgers and receipts in accordance with established guidelines. - Insure that every registration has attached the correct prescription for procedure diagnosis (no R/O) hopsital name printed physician's name address on RX/referral and signature of physician. Qualifications - One year prior experience in hospital registration and insurance verifications preferred. - Excellent communication and customer service skills. - Bilingual in Spanish desired - High school graduate or equivalent level of training.
