• Serve as the primary financial advisor and strategic partner to Account Leadership, leading monthly financial meetings with comprehensive P&L reviews that compare actual results to Plan and prior year performance • Own the creation of budget and rolling forecasts with focus on efficiency and improved pipeline visibility, while producing accurate monthly financial statements with detailed variance analysis • Maintain accurate pipeline management by obtaining and validating P&L transaction details in partnership with service line teams, ensuring compliance and proper accounting • Manage Accounts Receivable objectives to reduce DSO and overdue AR, review accounts payable vouchers for accuracy and compliance, complete balance sheet reviews, and coordinate timely monthly financial statement packages with the broader finance team • Execute monthly and quarterly close processes in accordance with GAAP and JLL accounting standards, including variance analysis, financial reporting, labor reconciliation, and revenue recognition • Contribute to identification and delivery of high-value AI use cases, and collaborate with team members to develop efficient processes including automation and simplification of workflows • Deliver ad hoc reporting and special projects as required centered around area of responsibility (JLL P&L, AR, T&E) • Support P&L intercompany & cost allocations, manage and train account team members on Time and Expense procedures, approve JLL invoices and team expense claims, and manage Statement of Work (SOW) billing/payment process • Mentor and develop finance team members through goal setting, performance reviews, career development planning, and succession planning to build a high-performing organization
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Minimum 5-7 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, with demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, analysis, and GAAP compliance
- 2-4 years of proven supervisory experience leading and developing finance teams, including performance management and succession planning
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems, with strong technical understanding of finance and accounting platforms and processes
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with proven track record of managing complex financial projects in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills with demonstrated ability to translate complex financial data into clear, strategic recommendations for executive audiences
- Preferred: Experience with financial dashboard development and business intelligence tools that enable data visualization and reporting automation
- CPA certification or MBA degree demonstrating advanced technical knowledge and professional commitment
- Background in client-facing finance roles within professional services, technology, or corporate real estate environments
- Familiarity with revenue recognition standards and contract compliance in multi-site or multi-service line organizations
- Track record of identifying and implementing process improvements that drive efficiency and scalability in finance operations
- Experience working in matrix organizations and collaborating effectively with cross-functional and global teams
- Knowledge of cost optimization strategies and financial modeling techniques that support strategic decision-making
